I can't find the "FN" key on my wireless logitech S 510 keyboard

Hi. I'm trying to take a screenshot picture for www.buildabearville.com, and I googled, "How to take a screenshot on Buildabearville" and one person said press the print screen button and if that doesn't work, press the function key, "fn". I can't seem to find it on my S 510 logitech keyboard. Can someone please help? Thanks.

Look like on your model there is a F Mode key right above the HOME and END keys. The PRnt screen key is up above the keypad.

Normally, to copy something from your screen to the clipboard:

1 - Press Print Screen:

- This copies EVERYTHING on the screen

2 - Press Alt+Print Screen:

- This copies the ACTIVE window displayed on the screen

I hope this helps.

Have a blessed day.

Hi,

a screenshot should always work with the "print" key.

Just take a screenshot of your whole screen with your "print" key on your keyboard and insert it in e.g. word or another program with the keys "Ctrl" and "V" (hit them in the same time) or "Edit - insert" in the program menu.

You can take a screenshot of a program or a window (a part of your screen to be precisely) in pressing the "ALT" and "Print" keys at the same time.

Some laptop keyboards have no direct "Print" Key. Only in this case you have to use the function "FN" and the "Print" Key. The "Print" Key is blue colored on that special keyboards. If you have no "FN" key, you don´t need it ;)

The "Print" Key ist the key, on which "Print" is written on it ;)

Hi, I have acer acpire, model 5534. wi fi wont connect to wireless network. What can cause this problem thanks

Hi,

Do you see a wireless or network icon in the lower right of the screen, next to your clock? Can you view a list of available wireless networks?

If so and you can see your laptop trying to make a connection on your screen and it just fails to connect, it's likely you've typed in your wireless key wrong.

If not, it's possible you've hit a wireless button or switch and shut your wireless off. On many laptops, there's a switch on the front or sides of the laptop that'll switch wireless on or off. On others, you'll have to look for a colored Fn (function) key on your keyboard. You may have to hold that Fn key and search for a wireless icon on one of other key's that's the same color (usually blue) as your Fn key.

Unfortunatly, I can't find any good pictures of your laptop to tell you exactly where it is. But let me know if this helps!

Im in an office with three computers that all have wireless keyboards. One of the keyboards keeps typing letters on another computer. How do I stop the signals from being mixed?

I have had a similar problem, when I wanted to run one Microsoft wireless mouse next to my TV and another Microsoft wireless mouse next to the PC in the same room. Both wireless receivers were picking up keystrokes from the keyboard, so the computer thought all keys were being hit twice.

You didn't mention your brand of wireless keyboard, but for microsoft products you push a button on top of the receiver, and then a button on the bottom of the keyboard or mouse to "pair" them. Repeat this step for the computers that are interfering with each other to solve your problem.

Find these steps laid out for you at the microsoft website here:
