I have a new Kokak esp3 printer. I am trying to install the printer. It lets me load the disc and starts the installation. However, every time shortly after it gets to "bonjour" it stops and tells me that installation was interupted and I need to restart. I tried going online to get it installed by Kodak but the same thing happend there. I had a new printer just like this one that I used for about six weeks. I had problems and had to take it back. My programmer told me to uninstall all the software in the printer area and try to reinstall. This was after I tried to use the printer and it kept giving me the message that the printer was off line.
Just goto control panel->add/remove programs->check you printer software and try to unistall it.
or
unistall the "aLL" the program related to printer software.
your problem may be the loose connection,so try reconnecting all the plugs two ends.
after reconnecting,
switch "ON"
and your computer will detect the hardware asking for the necessary software, jus plug in the CD and try automatic finding or locate the disc in the drivers section.
it will automatically install the DRIVERS and the software,
after that just restart the computer.
YOU PRINTER WILL WORK FINE
KINDLY RATE ME.
if you din remove the installation properly you cannot acces the printer.
when you run the "setup.exe" it will ask the USB to be plugged into the printer(i mean you should only connect the usb when its instructed)
open your MAnual
follow the STEPS 1,2,3 carefully
you should not feed the papers before the installation steps are over.
and when you are switching on the printer "do unplugg the power cord and plug it after 5 minutes"
removing completly:
after insatlling drivers and etc. From your computer, select: Start>Control Panel>Add Remove Programs
Scroll down and search for the KODAK All-in-One Printer Software.
Select the KODAK All-in-One Printer Software and click Remove.
Go to Clear Utility for KODAK EASYSHARE Software:
Select your operating system.
Read all of the steps.
Click Download.
When the Security Warning displays, click Run.
When the License Agreement displays, click I agree.
Click Start and follow the on-screen instructions
When the KODAK Printer Setup Utility screen appears, select how you want your printer to be connected:

I am afraid you are working with someone who has very little experience adding or removing software. I have basically been a computer user. I had already uninstalled all the printer software and was trying to re-install when the problem occurred. I had also tried unhooking everything and hooking it back up. However, I did repeat this step, "of unhooking." This time I received the following message: "The feature you are trying to use is on CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available.
Also, one more question. The USB power cord is not supposed to be plugged into the computer yet, correct?
