This problem occurs when either the website is added to the restricted sites
Try checking for entries in internet options >security>restricted sites>sites

if there are many entries, then there is a security software that is adding the entry

    Try these following steps.
Try to reset the Internet Explore(tools>Internet Options>Advanced>reset)
Try to delete all the cookies
Try to check for proxy settings (tools>internet options>connections>lan settings>proxy) Remove if proxy settings are enabled.
Try to check for firewall of your security software.
Most of the issues come with the security software.
I have heard that most of the security softwares conflict with the internet explorer.

Finally check for the hosts file(windows>system32>drivers>ets>hosts)
open it with the notepad and check for the entries>

I guess by performing these steps your problem might solve....

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Sounds like an issue with your ISP. Try another PC on the same connection and see if that works

The connection has timed outThe server at www.tagged.com is taking too long to respond. FirefoxRestarted Browsers [Firefox, IE], cleared cache, flushed DNS, restarted router. I can access other sites,

I could only guess TAGGED is undergoing a site maintenance. It happens every now and then. The good thing about it sometimes is that they (TAGGED) give some features available only to VIP's, but as some sort of 'peace offering' for the inconvenience they had caused us users, they let us see who has viewed our profiles, they let us see who has read our messages, etc. for about a week.

Can't log in to facebook. Michelle Ebel

sometimes it is the wrong user name and password or sometimes it is the connection issue. however if it is none of these there are chances the site is down at the time you were trying to log in or the browser is acting up. i would recommend you check ur user name and password and also your internet connection by opening other sites like msn.com or yahoomail.com etc. also try opening facebook.com on IE or FF or Chrome. hope this helps.

The site does not load when I'm trying to purchase things online! I get an error message 118 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT): The connection timed out

HI Inhishands,

This problem occurs because of a possible firewall block ,

Incase you are using firewall or anitvirus , try disabling it and then see if you are able to connect to the secure website.

First disable the firewall / anitvirus.

Then restart your browser and check if it works , if it does not work for a specific browser for e.g. Google chrome , then try running the website in either internet explorer or mozilla firefox.

Websites which are genuine , do have SSL technology for added security so that your transactions are safe but make sure you have the accurate website address and not similar looking but a fraud one.

When you find that it was indeed a firewall problem you need to add this website as an exception using your firewall/antivirus settings.

Hope this helps ..:) Let me know in case you have any queries.

Double click on virus/spyware exe and it will not

Download Google chrome browser and use that as test to see if your link would work. It could be that the website does not work well in ie browser version you have. If your link works in Chrome that proves that the website was not optimised properly for ie

Firefox or IE I've been using IE for ever, lately I've been hearing a lot about Firefox, and thought I might try it, what are the main advantages of Firefox, over IE? What do you prefer Firefox or IE?...

The user interface on the two browser is very similar.

Firefox is considered 'more powerful' because is more customisable, and you can download many extensions, that are plugins with many functions.

Firefox suffer less from virus problem, as there are more viruses designed to attack IE, however majority of viruses do not make any difference between IE, Firefox, Opera etc.

Internet explorer is more unstable and crashes more easily.

Sometimes new plugins (extension) can make Firefox slower.

Sometimes new download updates can make IE slower.

The two browsers are both good, and both work fine on most situation. I personally use Firefox, as it gives me less troubles with Windows.

My suggestion is : download and install Firefox, if you do not like it, then switch back to IE.

You can use both browsers at the same time.

Server not found

Have you checked your HOSTS file? It may have been tampered with somehow. I ask this because you're having issues with both browsers. If it's not a DNS problem, it may be linked to hosts file, which determines what websites you can get to see.
