Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Do you have diagnostic lights or anything on the machine itself?
Or do you have tools from the manufacturer to check the hardware status?
Sounds like the beep is from the BIOS and therfore probably hardware related.
Is it actually working at all?
If you can, replace the network cable and see what happens, or change the port on the switch it connects too, if you can that is.
if that doesnt help
there are 3 things why ur servr will beep..... the server may beep if it gets hot..... but i presume ur beeping shud be caused by RAM... take it out and reinsert ur RAM and IDE card/video card... if it still continues either ur RAM or the IDE card is dying... u might need to replace them.....
if all the above fails... u will have to call chieftec........
if u feel my service was helpful... kindly rate my solution.....
good luck..... and have a nice day Don
