Is adobe photoshop elements 3 compatible with windows 7

Hi,

I want to mention that Photoshop Elements 3 is not tested with the Windows 7.

If you have a windows 7 64 bit operating System then it may not even install in it. If you have a 32 bit Operating System then you can try to install it. However it may still not work even on a Windows 7 32 bit Operation System as it was not made and tested for this Operating System.

There is a probability that if you install the Windows XP mode on you Windows 7 operating system then it may work.
Check more about installing Windows XP mode here:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows7/install-and-use-windows-xp-mode-in-windows-7 Install and use Windows XP Mode in Windows 7

Anand

Please contact Microsoft for patches for IE8 Beta or use windows update.

You should also reconsider to upgrade IE8 Beta to IE9, wich is actual safer to use, also use windows update to do this.

How do i get to windows xp from black screen

hi

Repairing your Windows installation may change the configuration of Windows. You may also have to follow this step if you complete all the troubleshooting in steps option 1 and the problem is not resolved.
  1. Use the Windows XP CD-ROM to start your computer. On the Welcome to Setup screen, press ENTER to set up Windows XP.
  2. Press F8 to agree to the license agreement.
  3. Use the ARROW keys to select the Windows XP installation that you want to repair, and then press R.

Windows XP Setup repairs the installation files, Windows XP automatically restarts, and then the Setup program finishes the repair of your Windows XP installation.
  4. Follow the remaining steps to set up Windows.

Note You must have your 25-character product key to complete these steps.
  5. As soon as this issue is resolved, make sure that the firewall is enabled, and then visit the following Microsoft Web site to reinstall the latest updates: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/)
  6. Run a virus scan on the computer because problems with corrupted elements can be attributed to viruses.

Adobe Photodeluxe is no longer maintained or supported by the company, the product that replaces it is adobe photoshop elements, you could also use compatibility mode.

Photoshop does not work on vista

When Adobe began shipping Photoshop® Elements 5.0 and Adobe Premiere® Elements 3.0 software in September, final versions of Microsoft® Windows® Vista were not available to complete the testing required to ensure compatibility.
Shortly after Windows Vista becomes available to consumers, Adobe plans to release updates for Photoshop Elements 5.0 and Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0 to provide compatibility with Windows Vista.
Updates for existing Photoshop Elements 5.0 and Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0 owners will be available as a free download from adobe.com, and updated Vista-compatible versions of Photoshop Elements 5.0 and Premiere Elements 3.0 will become available in the same timeframe.
