Trying to thread bobbin and viewed manual several times. singer model 7258. screen first flashes C3 and then ][. cannot find troublr shooting codes in manual.

Why do I keep getting a C3 error (accompanied by lots of beeps) when I turn on my machine? The C3 error as well as the beeping when you turn on your machine indicates the foot control plug is not fully pushed into the sewing machine. Turn off your sewing machine and push the foot contol plug into the machine fully. Turn your sewing machine back on.

Brother NX-400. Never used. Error F04. I've looked for a model # for the foot for NX-400 to no avail. The foot that came in the box is Model T/FC-322. I can't help but think this is the wrong foot.

If you mean the foot controller, then the T/FC-322 is a substitute that should work. It's listed as a replacement here: http://www.sewingmachinesplus.com/234522001.php . The manual for the NX400 gives the foot controller as XC1154-051 . Brother changes the part number often but the wiring remains the same. Another substitute controller is available here: http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/foot-control-w-cord-brother-xc6651121.aspx .

The F04 message may mean there is an internal failure. This probably needs to be fixed by a Brother authorized repair person.

I wish that I had better news for you.

My lily's 1800 heater only heats for about 3 minutes and shuts off. any suggsstions?

If the unit has an adjustable thermostat, it may have failed.
If not, then a device meant to prevent fire, a thermal switch, which should only trip if the internal temperature rises to an unsafe level has failed. This latter part is often responsible for failure of drip coffee machines; the Chinese are still learning how to make some things.

Since the unit seems to have electronic controls, either a temperature-sensing device called a 'thermistor' or the controls circuit board monitoring this device has failed.

Unfortunately, since this kind of appliance comes primarily from China, service and parts can be tough to find,

I have a Dimplex in wall heater model 690221900 120 volt 1500 watt. Their is a 110 volt feed line (black, white and ground wire)coming in to the heater housing as well their is a two wire thermostat...

Well, for your wiring, there's nothing wrong with it, So, I think there's two way to find out which ones is wrong, first:
Install your heater without thermostat first, is it working, does the breaker blowing!!!.
If No, then your thermostat is the cause, but if Yes, then,
second:
Try install it with the new breaker with 10 A minimum, you must replace the breaker with new ones. When it's OK, then try install the thermostat too.

Hope it works!!!

I have a GEQ9800PW2 dryer and it is not heating. Can you e-mail me the instructions as to how to change out the heating elements?

You will need to open the back and look for burnt wiring or a bad heater coil. Unplug the drier.Pull the drier away from the wall, unhook the vent hose and remove the back protective cover. Looking closely at all the wiring, you may need a vacuum to get any lint out of the way. Check for burnt wiring to any control switches, most times they will burn at a terminal, all you have to do is replace the wire end, you can buy crimp on terminal ends from most any parts store. Next if no burnt wiring is found you have to check the coil. Look for large wires that hook to large terminals. You may need to get your hands on a Volt/Ohm meter to check the coil for a break in the coil. Remove the wires and read in ohms for a open circuit. If you get no reading you have an open coil and it will need to be replaced. Also it can be the timer but it is rare if all else is working.

Flashing lights

This is a copy of the post on your premium solution thread.

According to Singer guidelines , if there is only red blinking light, then there is an fault inside the machine, unless it reset disconnecting from power.
If there is an error code with format EM-01 - EM-09 tell me which error you get and I should find a fix.
Here is a complete user guide, check pages 90-92 for common errors.
If you have no error message, and light does not go out with power disconnect then it may be a faulty control board.
In this case I suggest doing a last attempt removing all threads, and reset design unplug from power 10/15 mins.

Let me know if you still have the problem.
