Remove the four screws from your dispenser, remove cover, there should be a plastic string, either red, yellow or green pull on it and the door should open. Then remove the four screws aound the door 2 aound door hinge then the other side, remove the front cover, it looks like a small goal post. Remove the the 5/16 screws under the lid. Raise top then you will see your latch assembly. oberverve your latch see if anything is broken. You can order a new latch assemby.Part#22004435 list for about $115.00

  • Watch when you put lid back down make sure you tuck wire harness back under lid .

SOURCE: Washer stuck between drain and rinse cycle

Could be stripped teeth in the timer gears. I take it if you move it a little it starts moving again?
Make sure the lid safety switch is engaged by the pin on the lid.

SOURCE: it will not drain the water on the rinse cycle

If your washer does not drain you need to check this parts.

  1. Inspect the drain hose for kinks
  2. Test the timer control
  3. Test the lid switch(some models)
  4. Inspect the water pump
  5. Inspect the drive belt(belt drive only)
  6. Inspect the motor coupler
If the drain hose reaches more than about 4 inches into the laundry tub, cut off the excess. If your drain hose is lower than the washer's cabinet, install an air gap/siphon break assembly.

I turned the Bosch Series 4 washing machine knob to the off position too soon after the load had finished washing. How do I now open the door?

Most washers will not unlock the door if it senses any water inside, select drain and spin or rinse and spin to rinse the clothes and drain the water. Once it has completed the cycle the door should unlock. If it does not there is usually an emergency release on the look lock inside the machine by removing the top or front panel.

Oko 72630. Why is it stuck on rinse cycle?

Could be several reasons:
- Selected the "Night cycle" program (means standing with the drum full of water, reason: too much noise in the spin cycle)
- Set to the "Rinse hold" (means standing with the drum full of water, reason: wrinkles on the clothes)

According to your description I think that this is not a failure otherwise error E20 will be appears on display.

Once the washing programme has come to an end, END illuminates on the programme progress display.
If RINSE HOLD was selected, the display beside the START/ PAUSE button flashes.
1. After a rinse hold, the water must first be pumped out:
- Either press the START/PAUSE button (the water is pumped out and the washing is spun according to the completed programme;
After the START/PAUSE button is pressed again, the spin speed can still also be changed during spinning), or
- Turn the programme selector to PUMP OUT and press the START/PAUSE button (the water is pumped out without spinning),or
- Turn the programme selector to SPIN or SHORT SPIN and press theSTART/PAUSE button (the water is pumped out and the washing is spun or gently spun).
At the end of this programme step, the END indicator will illuminate.
2. Open the door.
As soon as the DOOR indicator lights up green, the door can be opened.

The door wont open . I have tried to put it on for a cycle and you can here the the water for around 5 seconds then it stops and does nothing.

Check and make sure your pump or filter is not clogged, then next I would suspect you have a faulty door lock mechanism
More common issues with the door lock.
Is water hooked up to the washer?

The door will remained locked while draining water. If during installation the washer was plugged in and turned on without water hoses attached, the washer may attempt to drain for 8 minutes before the door unlocks. Let the washer run until the door unlocks. Do not turn off the washer or unplug the washer.
Does water remain in the washer after the final spin?

If water remains in the washer after the final spin, then the door will not unlock. Select Drain/Spin or Spin Only to remove any remaining water from the washer. The door should unlock at the end of the cycle. For models that have Rinse/Drain & Spin, push the Extra Rinse button to turn off the rinse to remove excess water.
Is the door locked and the Add A Garment light on?

If the Add A Garment light is on, then the washer door will unlock after the Pause/Cancel button is pressed once. Pressing the Start button will restart the washer at the same point where it left off in the cycle.
Is the door locked and the Add A Garment light off?

If the Add A Garment light is off, then the washer door will unlock after the Pause/Cancel button is pressed twice. The door will not immediately unlock while the cycle is running due to a possible high-water level in the washer, high-water temperature, tumbling or spinning. It may take up to five minutes for the washer to stop spinning and draining before the door will unlock. You will hear the door click when it unlocks.
Trying to gain access into a locked door can be a bit frustrating. Upon researching your question I found some links that may help you unlock your washer door. I attached all links below. I hope this helps!

Kenmore elite washer problem

sounds as if you have a drain issue, most common cause of fault is theres something stuck in the pump housing. remove the lower acess panel(3 screws along the bottom of the forn of unit) youll gain acess to the pump housing, remove the large cover to the "button trap" by uncscrewimg the cover, it will be righthin front of you in the center of machine when cover removed, im sure youll find your blockage within there

Whirlpool Duet won't run

The trouble could be with the door interlock. When the clothes were jammed in the door it could have caused the door latch to put strain on the interlock.

My washing machine gets stuck after rinse cycle

Before spending any money calling a repairman or changing parts, check the drain hose. If it is too deep down into the drain pipe then pull it back so that only about 6 to 10 inches is down the pipe. If it is too far down then it creates a vacuum which drains the water as it is trying to fill for the final rinse.
