Question about Proscan PS32600 32" TV
The use of a cable box is, at the least, a diagnostic tool.....
A source "box" or set-top-box could be from cable company
or satellite service. If not available, a VCR tuner could be usefull.
Here is the procedure.....From the wall, hook-up cable lead into
"box" or VCR or DVD / VCR unit.....come out of that unit with
yellow video, red / white audio into yellow, red and white on back of TV. Select Vid 1 or Vid 2 on tv and leave it to test.....change chan's at source......What do you get........?........T.

Are you plugging it into the actuall cable or is it an arial socket if it is the cable you need a cable box as you change the channels on this if it is the arial then it should have a self scan mode in the setup you wont get cable channels without a cable box because they opperate at different frequency and the newer tellt are made not to pick up these frequency so you have to purchase the cable box this should be plugged into your telly via a scart lead then you change the channels on the cable box the only channel maybe it is different as i live in the uk sorry i couldnt bbe any more help
