SOURCE: Freezer temp is rising to 12 degrees and doesn't reset

Most likely your computer board got zapped. It's usually located on the back of the unit. Have you tried to reset the unit by leaving it unplugged for about 20 minutes?

SOURCE: GE Profile - model PDS22 - constant clicking noise

Yeah, same problem. There are two capacitors that seem to be prone to going out. You can replace the main board, or (if you can solder) replace the two capacitors with slightly larger ones (radio shack mdl number 272-1030 works) just remember to bend them away from the heat sink if you go that route.

has a FF error shown up on your display. If so that is your freezer fan, and if not it still might be the FF motor is running to slow.

GE PROFILE refrigerator.. Has been unplugged for months. I plugged it in & it's making noise. Unhooked water supply yet still noisy..

What kind of noise, that makes a difference, a humming is a bad compressor, a rattling could be bad relay or start capacitor, or bad groumets ( the rubber pc.'s that compressor sits on) also a bad condenser fan could be making noise ( its located next to compressor. see pics

Load noise when I turned on water for ice

I assume it was the water dispenser. It has a solenoid on the water inlet valve which can stick. Is the noise coming from the back where the inlet valve is.

Groaning noise on GE side by side refrigerator

Usually the groaning noise is from a locked up icemaker. Remove the icemaker and defrost it with hot water. Check to make sure the unit is in good shape and not chipping. Let it dry out and then reinstall.
