Paper Jams

The printer should be on,remove the paper from the printer(if there is any),press and hold the down arrow/cancel button, release the button when the power light blinks 3 times ... The printer will rollers will automatically revolce and clear all the jams.. When the power light is green then repeat the same step 3-4 times.. To confirm the paper jam is cleared then feed 8 1/2 * 11 paper in the printer and again press the down arrow button and release the button once the power light bliks for 3 times and then release the button. If the printer feeds properly it confirms the hardware of the printer is fine.
Software issue: Go to printer and faxes in computer and check the icon. If it says.. 0 paper jam then, delete the icon and chcek in the device manager if there is an entry of usb printing support under Universal Serial Bus controller .. if the entry is there then delete it. Insert the printer cd in the computer and unplug and replug the usb cable from the printer. If the setup screen comes up then exit out of it and the printer drivers will get updated. After that tried to print another tets page from the computer. It will definately print.

Paper will not feed through printer part

cut the paper evenly with scissors before attempting to feed it into the paper entry port. If you just rip it, it will jam or fail to feed.

The paper will not feed correctly. The Right side is getting jam

First jam a paper on purpose then you will know where the jam is . and you will also know where to find the paper which is under the white cylinder.

Paper feeds crooked

Sounds like a blocked paper path, paperclips , staples , bits of paper etc can drop into the sheet feeder entry and get stuck in the paper rollers.Look and see if you can see anything in there, if not try feeding a piece of thin card back through the printer from the front (ie in reverse of the normal paper travel) be careful and you may be lucky and drive out the obstruction, if not you will need to strip it down to investigate further

Printer will not feed paper

I had a similar problem that was caused by a small piece of paper jammed in the feed mechanism at the point of entry. Make sure the way is clear and it may resolve your difficulty.

there were may situation that can help with this trouble,

1- try to see if the trays are seated correctly no bend or twisted
2- try to check the quality of your paper no concave nor convex ( like U or N)

Trouble with paper feed

Frequent jams are because either scanner picks up more than one paper or does not pickup at all. If scanner picks up more than one paper, then paper is sticky. If the paper is thin, it can pick up two at a time. Fan the papers so that they are not sticky.

Paper at the point of entry into the scanner must be crisp. If folded or 'dog-eared' trim it. Rotate the paper if any other side is crisp, roate the image later.

Clean all the rollers thoroughly, the pickup roller, retard roller and other rollers in the scanner. One can rotate the inner rollers and clean totally, not just waht is seeable area. If the rubber is worn out, it must be replaced. TRy a single page to check if the rubber is okay. Jarring noise is because the motor is 'stopped' and cant rotate because paper is stuck. This can affect motor/inner parts, but is designed for normal use.

PAPER JAM

Hi, oh dear, you have a paper jam in or near the roller or very small one in carriage. Open up unit as if rplacing cartridges, get a torch if you have to and search for tiny jam. A good clue, is does the carriage return to correct positon upon opening?

Loading printer paper

Where I was guiding the paper, after feeding the paper through the back of the machine (the slot is located on the outside of the back of the machine), the paper naturally wanted to enter underneath the black plastic plate where it would end up underneath the entire printing mechanism. As the instructions indicate, the paper does not actually feed "under the black plastic plate", it should feed through it. There are two rectangular silver tabs, one on each side of the proper paper entry slot. I cut the paper at a very slight angle and finally found the magic entry point. Also if you make an arrow with the paper by folding the sides, it will help guide it in that tiny silver slot. Because the machine is so tiny, that entry slot is almost invisible, except for those two silver tabs. After you manage to insert the end of the angled cut through the "invisible slot" be sure the entire edge of the paper actually enters the slot so that when you push the "Feed" button, the paper is grabbed and fished through evenly. Hope this helps somebody!
