    Thanks for your reply.

The washing machine is empty when it stops. I have to at this point turn the machine off and slightly move the time switch and turn the machine back on again and the wash cycle then completes.

    Thanks for your help.

Hi thanks for you prompt reply.

Yes the timer stops in the same place everytime just ofter the rinse and before it takes more water and conditioner, after which the spin cycle starts and then completes the wash cycle.

When the machines stops I turn the machine off and turn the timer slightly and then turn the machine on again and the wash cycle set then finishes.

    Hope this helps.

The timer could be sticking OR: Is the machine empty of water when it stops? This information may help solve your problem?

Does the machine stop everytime in the same position?

    EG. after the rinse cycle.

The timer could possibly be faulty?

  • Adrian Jun 18, 2009

It is possible that the timer could be faulty and require replacement. I would recommend a serviceman look at it to confirm this though.

Hoover vision hd washing machine is not heating water?

Possible failure of the heating element. Please check the continuity of the coil and if possible the voltage to the coil , if there is voltage at the cycle then the element is open.
check this link: heating element.

Our hoover ultra care 1300 large load washing machine spin fault

The most common cause of machines stopping mid cycle is not draining. Your machine should have a filter behind the kick plate at the bottom.
If this is not the case please post back for further assistance.
