Question about Canon PIXMA iP2000 InkJet Printer
A couple of days ago, a big storm was here. There was a electrical tension zeroed, and then a little overtension which didn't past over 240V. My computer and printer were plugged in, but both were turned off. Everything in my house works, except the printer, when I start the printer, the green light blinks once and then stops working; pushing the power button doesn't do anything after that.
I tried different ways to reset it, none worked.
One thing worked partially: I plugged it in while pressing the RESUME and POWER buttons, then pressed the RESUME button two times, the light turned orange; I pressed the FEED button once, and bottom feed light turned on. Plugged the USB in, and the system recognized it, but it was of no use; it didn't respond to the computer commands.
uninstall the software of your printer and reinstall it...hope it may work.
