go to pantechs website, under customer service section u will find ph# (800) 962-8622 for repair center. I had same problem no insurance on my ph and sent it to their repair center in Texas charged 39.95 s/h included in price for screen replacement.
I'm not sure why it does this. It must be something with Wal-Mart's signal. Because, I have a Matrix and I was in a town and it said that. What I did was turn my phone off then I turned it back on & it worked fine then :) It's only happened to me once again but if you turn your phone off then back on it should let you call them :)
Many users of the Pantech phones have been experiencing the same thing.
There are a lot of default in this phone. I would suggest you to return
it to Pantech and try to get a software upgrade. Although, I would
recommend you NOT to use it. Even if the Pantech exchange it for a new
one, the same problem will happened in a day or two.
