The rear wheel and drum will have to be removed to see what broke, hardware or lining delamination.

It appears that the brake is faulty and when in forward direction is putting itself on. It is free in reverse. check the brakes are in good condition and properly retained

SOURCE: I have on rattling sound sound on right front tire when slow driv

Have the tires inspected for a stuck stone or metal object. The anti-roll bar may have lost one of it's rubber bushings where it connects to the suspension on that side. A shock absorber may have lost a rubber bushing.

SOURCE: The level light for rear tires comes on, have to

Have them both checked for leaks. May be a valve stem or corroded wheel, but the only way to know is to have them checked.
One good idea is to spray soapy water from a spray bottle all over the tire, rim area, and around the valve with the cap off. Flex the valve stem as they can crack and leak air.

SOURCE: back right tire seized up and won't turn

this problem is caused by the 4 wheel active (needs no input from driver to apply brakes) anti-lock brake hydraulic controller has a leaking high pressure poppet valve to that wheel, u will need to replace the control valve, they sell rebuilt units. This is a fairly common problem on active ABS systems with traction control.

SOURCE: the back tires seem to

remove back tires to see if the brakes or what is locking up rearend. If it's just the rears then you could have a parking brake problem. also check e- brake cable for locking up. its hard to say without being there. check out rear brakes could be anything.

I think your torque converter IS the problem. Because it's the only thing that attaches the engine to the transmission and it's designed to "lock up" at highway speeds for overdrive. If it locks up at idle it will kill the engine. If it locks up at slow speeds ( < 35mph ) the vehicle will lurch/buck... And if it wont move in forward or reverse I would say it's time for a new/rebuilt transmission

1998 ford ranger wont reverse, the right real wheel wont spin but the left real wheel spin. It can only drive forward but not in reverse. Please help us on how to do it yourself.

either brakes are seized or the wheel bearing is seized. most likely the brakes are what seizes up. just jackup, and take tire off to check it out. it maybe a stuck brake, rust or dirt, or maybe a broken spring or two. good- day ! but first reach in back of tire and pull on the e-brake cable a few times at the problem wheel, it may be binding.

Sounds like a CV joint or outer wheel bearing assembly. Jack the right side up & remove the tire. Block the car so it doesn't roll away. Put emergency brake on & put car in neutral. Try to move the hub by rotating the spindle & listen to any noise. See if there is any up & down movement in th CV joint. Replace any worn parts. Good luck!

88 chevy 2wd rear right tire

You didn't say what the shop checked so I may be repeating something they already looked at. Check the brake caliper and I would also drain the old brake fluid and put in new fluid. You didn't mention if it was making any noise when this happens so I'll assume it's not a problem with your wheel bearings.

Press the brake then my rear tires brakes keep locking

it just happenned to me with my ford f-150 1997, turned out to be the rubber hose that was clogged so it couldn't relieve the pressure in the lines....

it should be located on top on the differential if you don't have disc brakes on the back.... but if it is disc brakes you should have a rubber hose on each side....
