Your system has over heated, and the excessive heat on the Cell processor has caused some of the solder joints to crack / melt.

With this happening, the system is unable to boot up.

Reflowing / Re soldering the processor and applying new heat paste will solve this.

We offer this repair service and guarantee it for 6 months at a very competiive price.

My ps3 has a yellow light that comes up

ok first of all this solution will destroy any saved data on your system!
(saved game, music, pictures, videos,)

Try this, hold down the on/off button at the front and wait untill it switches off again (after a couple of bleeps) then repeat but this time when you hear the double bleep let go and plug you ps3 pad in via usb cable and choose option "rebuild file system", if that doesnt work you might have to try formatting it

When turn on goes green bleeps twice then turns off ps3

The only time that my PS3 does that is when I do a reset of the system. Which means that I am holding the power button when turning on my system. If this is what you are doing, try just pressing the power button once. Or like I do swipe your finger across it like you swipe a credit card.

Dell Optiplex GX280 boot problem

I just repaired two Gateway systems with similar behavior (turn on power, fan runs at full speed, no boot), and both needed replacement system boards. (These were a different model, but the symptoms are typical of a dead system board.) I got the boards from a company called Blue Raven Technology (www.blueraven.com).

Before deciding the main board is bad, try another power supply to make sure that's not the problem. Also you might try clearing the CMOS memory on the system board (either by moving a jumper usually found near the backup battery, or by removing the battery itself). Sometimes corrupted CMOS data will keep the system from booting.

KINGSTON VALUE RAM 1GB PC3200 MEMORY

Hi,
You have the answer in your question. I have checked the PC specification and you are right, it uses PC2700 memory. Therefore you need to install PC2700 memory. PC3200 memory will be the wrong speed and will not be supported.
