Accidentally deleted system volume information folder in HDD

You need to remove the hard drive from your laptop and connect it to an USB hard drive adapter.
You need access to a computer that has Internet access then download and instal the Recuva program.

Recuva (pronounced "recover") is a freeware Windows utility to restore files that have been accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files emptied from the Recycle bin as well as images and other files that have been deleted by user error from digital camera memory cards or MP3 players. It will even bring back files that have been deleted from your iPod, or by bugs, crashes and viruses!
  • Put the memory card into an USB card reader and plug it into the USB port in your computer, then run the Recuva program.
  • Simple to use interface - just click 'Scan' and choose the files you want to recover
  • Easy to use filter for results based on file name/type
  • Simple Windows like interface with List and Tree view
  • Can be run from a USB thumb drive
  • Restores all types of files, office documents, images, video, music, email, anything.
  • Supports FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, exFAT, NTFS, NTFS5 , NTFS + EFS file systems
  • Restores files from removable media (SmartMedia, Secure Digital, MemoryStick, Digital cameras, Floppy disks, Jazz Disks, Sony Memory Sticks, Compact Flash cards, Smart Media Cards, Secure Digital Cards, etc.)
  • Restores files from external ZIP drives, Firewire and USB Hard drives
  • It's fast, tiny and takes seconds to run!
Go to these WEB sites to down Recuva http://download.cnet.com/Recuva/3000-2242_4-10753287.html www.filehippo.com/download_recuva
After installing this program plug the USB adapter and hard drive into the USB port of this computer and run the Recuva program on the USB hard drive to recover your files and backup your files.

You may need to reinstall Windows on your laptop after you install the hard drive back into the laptop.

Help How can I unblock my sandisk cruzer

Hi,
Dear Customer, Plz Flow this instruction i think solve you problem.
Reformat the drive:-
  • Right-click the SanDisk flash drive within "Computer" and select "Format..." Enter a name for the drive, select your desired format (FAT32 is typical for flash drives). Click "Start" to format the drive. This, unfortunately, will erase everything on the drive. Any data contained will be lost along with the password protection. Once reformatted, the drive will be fully accessible.

Accidentally reformatted now data inaccessable

I'm afraid you've lost all of your data. Next time use a separate External USB Hard Drive or a USB Flash Drive for that kind of process. But, go back with the drive to the original desktop and see, maybe everything is still there and the other PC did not see it/touch it, hope so. Good luck.

My sony flash memory is showing in accessible pls help

There is a way to make it not inaccessible but that would require you to reformat it using the steps below:..
1. To verify that the USB flash drive is actually the cause of the problem by inserting the drive into a USB port on a different computer. Check to see if the drive remains inaccessible on the separate computer drive. Plug the USB flash drive back into the original USB port if it still shows up as inaccessible.
2. Please open the computer's Start menu and then click on the "My Computer" button to bring up a new window with a list of the drives connected to the PC. Find the "Map A Network Drive" button at the top of the new window. Click on the button and wait for another window to pop up on the screen.
3. Now click on the "Drive Letter" drop-down menu at the top left side of the window. Select a drive letter that you want to use for the USB flash drive. Click on the "Browse" button and then locate the USB flash drive. Click on the drive and then click on the "Open" button. Click on the "Finish" button and then restart the computer.
4. Please return to the Start menu and then open the Control Panel. Double-click the icon in the window labeled as "Administrative Tools." Scroll down through the new list of options that will populate the window and then double-click the "Computer Management" link. Click on "Allow" if your computer's operating system asks for your permission to open the Computer Management menu.
5. Find the "Storage" button at the left side of the window and click on it to bring up a new list of options. Click on the option labeled as "Disk Management" and wait for the list of attached disk drives to populate the panel at the middle of the window.
6. Right-click on the drive letter you selected earlier when you mapped the USB flash drive to the computer. Click on the menu option labeled "Format." Make sure that the "File System" heading is set to "NTFS" and then click on "Start" to reformat the drive. Volia.
7. Restart your computer once the reformatting process has completely finished. Attempt to use the USB flash drive again. If still no luck, try purchasing an entirely new flash drive if the computer still will not recognize the drive, as that will indicate it is defective or physically damaged somehow.

Usb pulled out during use now not working

Sometimes when a flash memory stick or USB hard drive fails because it was not removed from the USB port properly. If the device is removed by just pulling it out of the USB port, it can cause the flash device to fail, you must click on the Safely Remove Hardware icon on the Task Bar and select the device you wish to remove and only do so when instructed to do so.

When the flash memory or USB external hard drive device appears to malfunction it maybe possible to restore it by reformatting it. Insert the flash drive into the USB port then Click on Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Computer Management - Disk Management.
Then right click on Disk 1 removable drive and click Format. After the flash drive has been formatted it will indicate that it is Healthy.

You need to format the external drive. Format the drive as primary drive and in FAT32. (FAT32 will allow data to be exchanged between MACs and PCs).
Insert the external hard drive into the USB port then Click on Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Computer Management - Disk Management.
Then right click on Disk 1 removable drive and click Format. After the flash drive has been formatted it will indicate that it is Health
