Question about FIC (MB02) Barebone
Reformatted hard drive and need the drivers. can someone send me in the right direction?
I suggest using driver finding software such as Driver Detective to automatically search and find drivers corresponding to your hardware, but unfortunately, its not free.

To 'factory reset' an external hard drive you will need to do something called reformatting. This will wipe all the data and return the drive to a as new state as far as information goes.
Right-click on the hard drive (It normally shows up as a letter like E or F ect.)
In the right click menu there should be a "Format" option, click it and chose to reformat the drive in NTFS format, this is the format commonly used for most hard drives.
If you get confused at any point you can do a quick google search for 'reformat a external hard drive'
Hope that helps!

Also check if it's detected in "Disk Management".
Here you can verify if the partition and format are correct for the Operating System.
Check the Drive's status in Device manager.
This will verify if the external drive has a drive letter designation.
Check Partition and Format.
Log in as Administrator account in windows or any other account with administrative privileges
Insert your removable disk into the USB port.
Click Start, right click on computer and select manage.
Now, click Disk Management.
Check whether drive letter for the device is present.
Check the lower window to find whether the device is detected (such as Disk 1, Disk 2, etc).
If the device is detected with a drive letter, verify that no other device is using that drive letter.
If it is, change it to unused drive letter.
hope this helps

If you were to log on to the
manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as
usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer
Instruction Manuals, list
of Dealers for spare part supplies and Driver
Just Google the manufacturer's name and
follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's
web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they
charge for the information that is normally free of charge.
I hope this helps.
