Question about Dryers
Fan works only if held at certain angle.
Was trying to open the cap at the back but dont know how to pop out the knob thas controls fan oscillation.
You may have a defective shafting, or bushing or just plain stuck. This can also damage fan cap. But the way you describe it, your cap may be bloating already.
The knob could be taken off, check if it is have screw(or in the middle of it), some maybe a screw type knob, or you have to pull it with just enough force.
