The icemaker doesnt call for water until the thermostat is satisfied. Turn the thermostat to the warmest setting to advance the icemaker. You will get power when the ejector blade reaches 10 oclock position. You can always ohm the coil to see if its open. If it is open replace the valve Part #2552A

Why is my Uline ice maker filling with water not ice ?

At first I wanted to say it has to fill with water to make ice but I know you mean the ice bin is filling with water. You either have an issue with the water control valve leaking or your timer isn't working properly. Listen for the water to flow and when it seems to shut off look at the tray fill spout and see if it actually stopped dripping. If it continues to drip (not flow normally) then the valve is leaking. If it isn't dripping but the water in the ice tray over flowed, then the issue is either with the timer or the adjustment is incorrect.

Does not fill with water

selinoid just above connection of water inlet hose may have burned out. Get a replacement fro your local appliance parts store and with the water -under the sink- turned off, replace the old with the new. Of course, you should have checked to ensure that the two wires connected to the selinoid are properly connected!

ULine CLR2160S00 was making ice then the icemaking started to slow then none at all had refrigerant replaced last year and everything else seems to be working fine,,, just no ice

Does the ice maker get water? Could the fill line be blocked? I found on my freezer ice had formed at the end of the tube and once I removed the ice it has worked fine since.

Our icemaker makes cubes, but leaks water from the ice tray area, creating a 2 inch block of ice in the bottom of the ice cube collection bin each night.

Have a look at the manual on page 6 for adjustment procedure.

Also, your leak may be due to a water valve that is not able to turn off 100%. Valve replacement would be necessary. Unplug your icemaker electrical, and empty the ice. Leave the water turned on. If you keep getting water collecting in the bin, you are likely looking at a water valve replacement (not hard at all, just inconvenient).

Drinking water works fine . not the ice maker. water is leaking out of one end toward front of side by side and makes a huge block of ice where the ice cubes go .What is problem.?

In back of the refrigerator at the bottom you will find a water supply line. This is conected to a selinoid valve it splits the water in two directions one for the ice maker one for water to the door. The side that controls water flow to the icemaker is not closing all of the way. This may be caused by deposits in the valve or a week valve spring. Replacment cost is about $20 if you change it yourself. About $90 if you call a service tech. If your good with your hands replacment is simple 2 screws or bolts hold it to the unit the fittings are compression type. Remember to unplug the unit and turn off the water supply and have rag or towel to catch the water left in the line.
Hope This Helps

My ice maker is pumping too much water into the mold. What component controls the amount of water flow?

This will be the inlet water valve assembly. it seems to be malfunctioning. i recommend testing for proper functions. This could be a mechanical failure.

The water inlet valve is connected by two wires. Label the wire placement on the water inlet valve before disconnecting the wires. The wires are connected to the terminals with slip on connectors

Firmly pull the connectors off of the terminals (do not pull on the wire). You may need to use a pair of needle-nose pliers to remove the connectors. Inspect the connectors and the terminals for corrosion. If the connectors are corroded they should be replaced.

Inspect the filter screen where the supply line connects. Remove any debris or deposits that may have built up using a toothbrush
or warm running water. If you cannot clear the clog, it will be necessary to replace the valve (the filter is not removable on most inlet valves).

Test the water inlet valve for continuity using a multimeter. Set the multimeter to the ohms setting X100 (if available, otherwise use the nearest ohm setting). Place a probe on each terminal. The multimeter should display a reading of 200 to 500 ohms. Close inspection of the inlet valve and especially the coil may reveal the exact ohm resistance rating to test for. If the water inlet valve does not pass this test, it should be replaced.

No water coming into dishwasher

The hum is a selinoid. The water inlet valve is selinoided operated so I woudl sspeculate that either the valve is bad or the selinoid is. You can check the selinoind with an ohm meter. Since it hums I am guessng that the valve is bad. Likely they come together as one unit.
