My wife's 2004 Murano SL take three to six cranks to turn over and sometimes won't start. I have put a new battery and fuel pump in it. I have tried injector cleaner in the fuel. I have even tried turning the key to the on position to let the fuel pressure build up to eliminate the pressure valve. The check engine light is on, reads code p0340 which is Camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction. Could this be related? Once the car is running it runs great. Any help would be great. I have read a couple places that the ECM could be going out.

I would replace your cam shaft position sensor. It can cause the car to start hard and run bad if it is bad. Let me know what engine you have and I will be able to tell you where it is located.

That makes the computor think the timing is off. Replace the sensor and see if that does it. You will then have to have the code cleared (erased) or the light will come back on/stay on.
