Wont start wash cycle

The very first thing to check is that it is dead everywhere, and won't start on either fill or spin. If you find it won't start on a wash cycle - but it will work OK on spin then it may be related to not taking any water in - go here won't fill with water. Hack Free Robux HackFreeRobux

It wont spin

Your washer has a lid switch.97a908d.jpg If the switch is broken the washer will not spin. The pump is mounted on the motor.c5ccc2f.jpg
In the wash cycle the pumps turns counterclockwise. In the spin cycle the pump turns clockwise, forcing the water out of the machine. So if that lidswitch is dead then she won't pump OR spin. This video shows how to get into your machine and the next one shows how to replace the lid switch

Fills up the first tim but not after for the rest of the cycle.

it sounds like the fill float could be stuck in the full position and sticks during the rinse cycle check the float it is in the front to the left or right it looks like a bell, move it up and down and if necessary remove the front kick plate(s) and observe the mechanism as you move it up and down to ensure it is not hanging up.

Washer filles with water but wont change cycles

start filling the washer on the warm cycle, turn washer off,if the water keeps filling then you have a bad water inlet valve,if it turns off then you have a loose water level hose or the water level switch is bad-mike

Cold cycle does not work

hey thats crazy.anyway first things first.water passes through the fill valve.in the valve[ where the black fill hoses attach to your washer] are screens that stop minerals from going into the valve itsself and blocking up the valve internaly.i know its going tobe tough[trust me i've done 100s]but its how your complaint is solved 99 out of 100 times.you turn off the water remove the cold hose and clean the cold fill screen.also while the hose is off flush it into a bucket or the washer tub[wont hurt a thing]make sure you put the screen back into the valve.so next time valve wont get harmed.if the screen is clean and you have water at the cold facuet at the washer.you could have a bad valve.that would be a voltage check.we wont go there now.if you still need help you can email me thru fixya.hope this helps. God bless ,tom

Kenmore washer model 110.49722990 it will not go into the drain or spin part of the cycle, just sits there and hums, won't do anything. It will fill with water and wash, but thats all it won't finish the...

Does it fill with "cold" water? Will it spin?Drain? If the machine will fill up with cold water, will the timer advance by itself to finish?Or if you place the timer in spin cycle will it spin?First off if your not getting "Cold" water to fill inside :Replace the water valve (because when the timer stops after the agitation cycle it wont advance because it cant fill up with cold water.
