Try to check if is it properly installed not just the hardware but as well as the software. Basically when we plug in a usb deice especially first time you inserted that device it sometimes need allowable time to install its driver. Also try to check if you computer supports plug and play device such as USB cause sometimes not all USB device are supported in all different types of hardware.

I have a cordless mouse/keyboard K350. The mouse M510 stopped working. Purchased several months ago. Now what?

If you can, check your wireless mouse with another computer to determine if it is working or not. If it works on the other computer, remove any M510 drivers from your computer. Plug the wireless adapter back in, and see if you computer recognizes it and the port it is plugged into (control panel/system/devices). If the computer recognizes it and loads software, try your mouse again.

I have an Engage wireless mouse that has worked fine for about 6 months and now when I plug the adapter into my laptop (Windows 7), a message shows up USB Device not recognized. I have search for driver...

Does that message pop up when you plug it into every available USB port? Are your batteries charged? Is the mouse recognized on another computer?
This could mean that your USB port is dead or dying (unlikely) or that your mouse adapter is fried.
Try it on another computer, if you get the same message, it's off to the store for you!

I have iogear miniview kvm (gcs62) keyboard works but mouse conn does not. Mluse is usb mouse with ps/2 adapter. Direct connection via usb works. used to also work with adapter but having tried it with kvm...

USB mouse with PS/2 adapter is not guaranteed to wok with GCS62. This KVM switch is designed to work with PS/2 keyboards and mice only.

When the USB mouse with PS/2 adapter is used in a computer directly, it will surely work, because the USB port can give enough power for the mouse to work. And it can easily convert the signal.

Unlike in KVM switch, the switch serves as a bridge between the mouse and the computer. And the computer does not easily recognize the mouse.

I would suggest to use a regular PS/2 mouse. Or if you want to use USB keyboard and mouse, you need to have a USB KVM switch. Model GCS632U.

Thank you and good luck!

GE Wireless "Malfunction" "Unknown Device"

Does the mouse and/or keyboard have a "connect" button on the bottom of either? Try restarting your PC, then, if you have installed new batteries, and the mouse/keyboard is still not connected, try the "Connect" button if any.

Spyder mouse won't work

I had a similar problem. I corrected by performing a manual connect as listed in the manual that came with the mouse.
Manual reconnect:
1. Plug in the receiver.
2. Turn on the mouse.
3. Press the button on the receiver.
4. Press the connect button on the mouse once within five seconds of pressing the button on the receiver.

This worked for me, and the mouse has worked fine since.

If this doesn't work. The manual suggested taking the batteries out of the mouse for 20 seconds and unplugging the receiver, then repeat the steps above.
If that doesn't work. reboot the computer and repeat the steps above.

Hope this helps.
