Question about Televison & Video
You may have bad connections inside the TV. Either loos cables (flat cables) or loose IC that needs soldering.
You may want to check videos below on TV repairs. I cannot find a Hitachi but the approach is almost the same. I would advice caution if ever you want to try it out.
