This could be because of the static
Press the power key down for less than 2 minutes once you start the computer
then start the system normally.

I've been trying for days to get my computer to turn on. I had it plugged in when the power went out a while back, I've asked on Yahoo! Answers and was told to get a new power supply, I did. Now I've...


try removing everything you do not need from the motherboard - all USB connectors, front panel connectors (except power switch), ide and sata cables, PCI boards, sound connectors, just leave the essentials for the motherboard to function (also check for lid switch). Make sure you have 12v connected if applicable.
If it still does not power up with a new PSU it is likely that the motherboard is faulty.

Else hardware problem thn clean sliver portion of ram by rubber

Lap top will not boot correctly when not connected to ext hard dr


First u check the laptop Display
if it has display, thn it might be problem ur windows
instead of it.
if computer does not give display thn u check the power adopter of ur laptop.
after all gonig through these steps.even u find all these above steps perfect.
it will mean,
it might be problem of ur hardware.
lets check out it by ur computer vendor.

Shut down


ok.. does it boot n thn shut downs.. or it doesn't boot also.. if it boots n thn shutdowns thn there might b a virus problem.. check fr latest n best virus.. n thn check it up.. hope ur prblm 'll b solved.. plzzzzzzzzzz! write in detail... so tht we may gv u proper suggestion..
