Hi Jean, I hope I can help you find your paddle. Did you lose your paddle or did you buy a machine without one. Or perhaps yours broke?

Do you still have knead blade for welbilt bread machine ABM6200

Hi and welcome to FixYa. Most every welbilt paddle / kneading blade that is in production can be found here:
http://www.shopwiki.com/welbilt+bread+machine

Another source is Nelson Appliance:

http://www.nelsonappliance.com/shop/categories/bread-maker-parts.asp?page=2
and
http://www.nelsonappliance.com/shop/categories/bread-maker-parts.asp

See if you can match your blade to the ones on the linked page. There are a frew places that have used paddles on line but would rather have you look at new stocks vs old stocks first. I realize that none of the paddle descriptions state specifically they are for the ABM6200 Model. The stem sizes are all the same so you should be able to find a correctly configured paddle. If you have the angled upright paddle you may have to look at breadman paddles to find a replacement.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

I have an old toastmaster bread machine model 1154, and I realized that the kneading blade does not rotate when the ingredients are in the bread pan. Either the kneading blade mounting shaft and the...

If the spindle is turning and the paddle is not then your paddle is worn out and probable slipping on the spindle. If the spindle isn't turning then your problem is underneath the pan or inside the drive and your paddle may be fine.

The kneading paddle won;

I have found it necessary to periodically remove the shaft from the pans of breadmakers and clean off the carbon that is "coked" grease. I polish the shaft with crocus cloth and clean out the bearing. Often one has to remove a "C" clip to dis-assemble the shaft from the pan.

After cleaning I relube it with FOODSAFE grease before re-assembly.

I need a replacement bread pan and kneading paddle for a breadman Pro tr-777spr. Anyone out there know where I can get one?

My bread pan is not too bad, but my kneading paddle is rather beat up, so I kept searching online and finally found a site ABTECPARTS.com that had the kneading paddles so I ordered two. Hopefully that will take care of my problem. It helped that I found out accidentally that the same paddle (part # 20274) fits three other Breadman machines (TR2200, TR220-C, & TR2200--97) so I just kept searching and about 2 a.m. I found this site. I hope this will help others looking for paddles.

Bread paddle isn't "strong" enough to knead

Hi bex_ta,

If the paddle doesn't have the power to knead, you're probably losing torque at one or more of several points:
1) Where the paddle attaches to the shaft (is there evidence of slippage/wear in the paddle socket?),
2) Where the shaft goes through the pan (possible friction point - presumably this is what you oiled)
3) The belt might be slipping, either due to friction in the shaft, or because the belt is worn and loose.

You need to determine if the shaft is sticking, and if it's because it's bent (fairly unlikely) or if there's something fouling it. You'll need to isolate and fix that first. If you can rotate the shaft freely, then we look at (1) and (3) above - these are simple parts replacements, but the shaft would be more involved.

Belts are getting tough to find - if you can provide specs/measurements, I'm going to start contacting a small-run manufacturer to see about making some new belts, as I'm seeing multiple online requests for belt parts. If you happen to have a broken one, I'd like to get one as a sample to send to a manufacturer.

If I can be of further assistance, or if you have questions about any of my response(s), please let me know before rating me.

If this solves the issue, please rate it accordingly. My goal is to earn a "FixYa" rating from everyone I help.

Thanks for using Fixya.com,

Jon

B&D Bread maker all in one

I think the problem is that the bushing - the tubing that the paddle passes through - wears down (corrosion) and jams after a few years. I took mine apart and found that was the case. So a new pan has to be ordered. I'm trying that out now via the B&D 1-800 number.
