Question about Whirlpool Ultimate Care II LSQ9549L Top Load Washer
The water drains out as normal, however sometimes the spin cycle will not start. I tried doing a rinse/spin with no clothes and it got stuck at the spin. I gave it a manual "push", and it started spinning. It went on to operate normally through the completion of the cycle at that point. For several days now, wash loads have been extremely wet because it is not spinning. There has been no change in water, size of loads, settings, or anything else that I can think of.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

sounds like a lid switch problem. is there a clicking noise when you open and close the lid?
if not then the lid switch may need to be replaced; inexpensive.
this could also be caused by a bad timer.
also try a different speed for the rinse cycle, it may be a bad motor and it is not going into a certain speed. instead of gentle or slow speed try fast or normal, something like that.
