I have to hold the filter when making coffee - if I don't the filter holder starts to unwind and then coffee and water spurts everywhere. It has only just started this and I clean it constantly making sure that both the filter sieve and also wipe the underside of the filter connection to the machine. The coffee when it comes out is now starting to dribble out instead of flowing slowly out. Its getting a bit of a bind to make a cup of coffee these days and I'm hoping you can come up with a reason why its reacting this way. The on/off switch is steady and not blinking - as your instructions say it is due for de-scaling.

Please check the following:

1. Hooks - the hooks could be worn
2. Gasket - it could be worn or broken.

You need to replace the filter holder or the rubber seal/gasket.

Hope it helps and have a great day!
