Question about Fantom Drives Titanium II (TFD160U2) 160 GB USB 2.0 Hard Drive
I was working on my computer and suddenly power went out.when the power comes back and i started my computer then mine d: drive is not opening.when i open this drive it shows an error performing page operation . I have done the following: Click "Start", "Run...", type "cmd" and click [OK] or press [Enter]. From the command line type "chkdsk d: then i got a message this drive, path is not invalid .now how to open d: drive and recover the data
You sound like you know some techie stuff, so I'll speak more techno-geek ...
Run on your C: drive the "chkdsk c: /r"
Make sure your drivers for the D's connection are still viable; not corrupted from the power outage. Remove and re-detect the USB Hub, if that's what you connect with...
It is not seeing your D at all, so it's not something ON your D that is bad; its in your computer itself.
