My canon digital camera wont open what would be the problem of this matter

  • kakima Apr 03, 2014

What model Canon camera? What do you mean by "won't open"? The battery compartment won't open? The camera won't turn on? The shutter won't open? The lens won't extend? Something else?

Where can I get program to my computer to charge old Canon Ixus 2.1 Mp. I have not programcd.

It's not a matter of software but of hardware. The only way you could get your camera to charge the batteries would be to open it up and insert charging circuitry. Not a triviial task, since Canon obviously didn't do it :-)

You must charge the batteries outside of the camera.

Lens wont retrack/ camera wont turn on...

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ...

Here's some things that you can do to try to correct it. They only seem to work for less than 50% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try:

Canon EOS Rebel Ti

you mean the flash is not opening or coming out of its enclosure? if its not opening up, its stucked! try inserting a small plastic card into the flash compartment. a hook is holding the flash from coming up like a door lock. its near the shutter button side; if its up and not flashing take a look at the bulb, if theres a change in color its dead already. dead bulb can be checked by shooting on autmode (the green mode), dead bulb will gonna shoot but flash wont go, if the flash circuitry is bad it wont shoot no matter what.
