Question about Cherokee CBS2100 40-Channels Base CB Radio
If the problem is with multiple units hooked to the same antenna for testing, the problem is in the antenna and/or coax betwixt the cb and antenna....
Someone has pinned your coax, dude...

When you asy that you have an swr meter, you are refering to an inline meter, not the one on the radio, correct? Have you set the SWR by the instructions of the inline meter (if that is what you have)? Have you made sure the antenna is mounted to the bracket with the white plastic washer in between the antenna and the top of the bracket? You have checked the antenna coax for a broken center conductor and for a center conductor shorted to shield with a multimeter? Check antenna bracket to ground with a multimeter?

Go get a cheap antenna somehwere and try it to see if your antennas are at fault. They may have a problem.
