Re: wi-fi not responding

It appears that the wi-fi device is not switching off, or closing down on exit from whichever program your running.
check to ensure you have the correct drivers for the device installed.
You could check Asus website, to see if this is a common problem, and if so may download a patch or update fix.
The only other suggestion:- is to right click the wifi icon at the bottom right hand of the screen ( if there is One )
And Disconnect befor exiting your OS.
Hope this is a step in the right direction.

P5k-e front pannel audio not working

Make sure you check that the front audio cable is connected properly on your motherboard. You can see how it's supposed to be hooked up and where it is located on page 2-32 in either of the manuals I have linked up for you below. And if you haven't already make sure you have the correct audio driver installed.

I have the ASUS T101 how do I get internet access without WIFI. Is there an internet card I can get?

Most desktop computers do not have Wi-Fi capabilities. If you wish to connect it to Wi-fi, you can use a USB Wi-fi LAN Card, which can be connected to any USB port of the PC and can be used to recieve wi-fi signals/ data. Note that PCI Wi-fi LAN Cards are also available, which are internal and added to PCI Port of the PC.

Hope it helps! Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya!

I have motherboad asus P5S800-VM and I get a beep when I turn and after about 5 seconds I get like 5 consecutive short beeps, can you help please. thanks

I hate giving a bad diagnosis as I am afraid that you will not respond to the post well or give me a poor rating. But never the less, I will give you the information that you have requested.
5 beeps whether you have an AMI or Phoenix BIOS means that there is a CPU error. That does not mean that the processor is dead, you may be able to reseat the processor in the socket and get the computer back up and running.
I am just telling it like it is, 5 beeps means CPU error.
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.
If I have helped you, please help me, and rate this suggestion.

If you need further assistance please comment to this post and I will try to help you further.

The manual is Here:

However, wires to the case are specified by the case maker (you did not specify). Just about all of them mark the connectors on the wire ends with their functions. Just match with the manual's jumper description.
