I am assuming you need an adapter for your tv? if this is the case it would depend on your tv. I have a samsung and it has mirroring already available. If you have an available HDMI port on you TV you could purchase a Chromecast they work great I have been told.
Heres a way to connect the 2 but Im thinking you need a computer with HDMI or just use a ps3. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-OEM-Samsung-Allshare-Cast-Wireless-HDMI-Hub-Dongle-for-S3-S4-Note-2-10-1-8-0-/390609742443?pt=US_Other_Cell_Phone_Accessories&hash=item5af227aa6b
How to connect Samsung Galaxy S3 to TV..
There are 3 ways to do this..
1. You can use a compatible MHL adapter that connects to the micro USB charging port of your phone and then a regular HDMI cable from your TV connects to the MHL adapter that's connected to your phone. You will have to connect the Samsung micro USB charging cable to the MHL adapter in order for this to work.
You will be able to see everything that you do on your device, however you will be limited to how you hold your phone if you are trying to play a game and direct what you see on the screen to the TV.
Note: the MHL adapter may overheat your device if you have it on and working for long periods of time.
2. You can use a remote access app on the phone to view on a PC/TV monitor. Depending on the remote access app, there maybe a lag seeing the image on your screen. Most apps like this are paid apps.
3. The Samsung Galaxy S3 phone has a natively installed software tool on the phone or can be downloaded from the Samsung Galaxy App Store (Available after you set up your Samsung account on your phone) that can link to a compatible DLNA device (most TV's that are 2005 or older). The app is called Samsung AllShare Play, or it may also be called Samsung Link
im not sure but could it be a comparability issue with the device and the wake up signal from the device to the tv? android systems use a Linux based file system, so the problem may be in the tv's input settings. hdmi input from the device to the tv. and then go to tv input mode and see if putting the device in another hdmi port doesn't work.
Ur tv some how causes HDMI 1 and 2 port hubs link together so changes back and fourth 1 or 2 HDMI hubs will not a difference.Ur tv have 4 HDMI hub ports wright?Tries not to used HDMI hub ports as like HDMI ports like 1,2,3,4 to as in sequences.Tries used like 1 and 4,2 and 4,3 and 1 as skips sequences might work for ur tv.Tries to hook up the PS3 system as the old format hook up same hook as PS2 format like used the PS station old RCA AV cable hook up.Then that should not causes conflict at all because now tv have two difference kind of format hook up.
The tv Samsung refurbish main tv Turner signal board will set u back like $120-130 bucks + shipping and handleling and u must have to have some basic mechanicals skills like take things aparts and putting it back togther again to fixed this tv just for the used of those HDMI hubs ports again. My questions to u is?Does ur tv used 100% must require those useages of those HDMI hubs ports. Not just used the Samsung tv as is.My Samsung tv have the same problems.I just work around it by skipping all the useages of all those HDMI ports hubs of the tv altogther. Most poeple just used about like 3 HDMI ports hubs for like a HD cable box or DVR cable box and a PS3,WII games systems or Blu Ray DVD player. All these devices can go through hook up for like a RCA component cables hook up like AV1,AV2 and last one a HD hookup by a RCA component cable just add 2 more components wires like a green and purple connections or just buy a set of RCA components cable that design for a HD output.I did that, must more reliable set up too.Because those RCA components cables set up have more plastics in it connections for insulation holes for little shorts and sparks better than those HDMI ports hubs and HDMI cables barely help and the plastic for insulation is a joke almost non exiten. Those all dam HDMI ports hubs are all link into one path way on the circuit board, one dies or got shorted all dies and get shorted out.
That HDMI connection hub port it some how got short and it dead.Tries other HDMI connections hubs.If all are like that they are all dead. All HDMI hubs ports connections are link together. If one dies usually all HDMI hubs dies together.Than ur tv Tuner signal board will not have anymore HDMI hubs functions connections at all, none of the HDMI hubs will work again ever.Have happen to mine Samung tv,so now i have to stop using HDMI hubs all together.
That HDMI port hub it properly shorted, tries used another HMI ports hub?Tries to reset the tv back to factory setting,by unplug, replug it an hour later,go to the tv menu go to PICTURE,go down to reset. So the Tuner board reset itself back to the factory setting, all the HDMI ports hubs, should work now or that HDMI port hub is shorted,or the Tuner board it dead.
