I think you need to insert the original Sim card that was used when you set the code. The code is stored in the card. Once you have done that and unlocked the phone, the phone will work with all other Sim cards. Just remember if you set the code you have to use the card that was in use at the time.
You can take the phone to a shop and they might be able to clear it. They have special software for that purpose, that isn't readily available to all.

Hey, I bought a used LG orange KU 990 without a sims card, is there a way I can unlock it so that I can use my AT&T sims card.
