Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

1 Answer

My V3 keypad is not responding

My Razor V3 screen went black. I'm not sure if the battery was totally dead, but I guess that was not the problem.
While recharging only the keypad lit up. After recharging the screen came back, but the key pack doesn't work. Cannot access anything, dial or retrieve information.
Is there a solution?

Re: My V3 keypad is not responding

Probably your flex connector get loose or defective... if you can open your fone try to check it... if not, just visit your service center..

V3 dead but keypad flashing

I had exactly the same problem. After unsucessfully looking for a solution on the net I removed the simm chip and set it aside. The next day, I put it on PC usb charge and left it overnight. The next day, I powered it up and it worked. I turned it off and replaced the simm and it is now working fine. Go figure...

Sounds like your phone's been through some rough treatment - try taking the battery & sim card off for a while - make sure there's no moisture & if you're still having problems, stop by your dealership shop & see what they can do.
