Question about HP Photosmart C6180 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Poor print quality

I have an HP Photosmart C-6180 All-in-One that has worked great for a couple of years. Recently my copies started to come out weak in appearance and seem to have a "greenish" tint. When I check the ink gauges they are all filled up and none are low on ink. What do you think? Thanks, Carlos

You might want to check the resolution settings by right clicking your printer in control panel/printers and select a higher resolution or if it is Draft Mode move it to normal, if this doesn't correct the problem, you may have a faulty printer head, meaning you'll need to buy a new printer cartridge.

Poor print quality

I have to ask this question of you, just to make sure this is not an issue. Are you using a factory new ink or toner cartridge?
Please consider the following:
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridges that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks or toner causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead or photo conductors.
If you are using factory new ink or toner cartridges, then please call the manufacturer’s Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges

HP R927 says that the 4GB card i recently bought wrong format

ok ...see that into the side of the card( if its a SD) has a slide like button with 2 positions ...one of them is the unlocked one ...after that either format it into the camera if it has that feature...or just connect it to the computer and it will be found somewhere into the My computer as a removable drive ....just right click and format in Fat 32...this is the actual storage format fit for this cards..

Poor photo printing

Have you manually cleaned the printheads. Bad clogs from different reasons sometimes cannot be removed by the printers own cleaning system. Use a good quality solution and thoroughly clean heads.
