Question about HP Pavilion a735w (PL308AAR) PC Desktop
I can think of two things. 1) if you did not use a grounding bracelet and the correct tools etc to remove it and did not keep it in an antistatic bag, static electricity from your body or someone else's etc or debris such as hair may have come into contact with it and 'killed' it meaning you have to get another one. 2) if there is a cable coming from the unit where it is to be placed on the motherboard, make sure this cable is properly inserted into a dock nearby which should be labeled CPU FAN or CPU FAN2. Computers with these will not operate unless the wire is inserted into the correct port. it's a failsafe device to stop the CPU from overloading from the heat. hope i helped. couldn't really understand some of your Q but i tried. Thanks
