Yes- it depends on the mouse brand but it makes more sense to purchase a new one because with the shipping they add to it (10.00 for receiver, 7.00 shipping) you might as well make a new purchase and chunk the old one because it will not work with the new receiver

Lost receiver for microsoft wireless mouse 5000 model 1387. Can i use my sandisk cruzer flash drive as a receiver?

A flash drive will not work as a receiver, you could try purchasing a new receiver for it, if you cannot find one for your model try to find another of the same brand as they are the most likely to work. Best bet really is to take your mouse with you to a store and try with one of the demo computers to make it work. Even if you don't want to buy it there you could get your research done all at once.

Purchase a USB adapter and extension. Connect the USB Wireless Receiver to the adapter and position it as close to the keyboard and mouse as possible.

Have lost Receiver to our Micro Wireless Optical Mouse Model#PD910P what is your suggestion?

Ok, so I could probably do a lot of research to help you find online a usb receiver for this device, but it will probably cost you with shipping at least $10, probably not much more though. However I did find the same mouse with the receiver new for $20, well actually $16.93 and up. Just buy the new one and now you have an extra mouse, and usually the mouse goes bad before the receiver. http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=Micro+Wireless+Optical+Mouse+receiver+PD910P&hl=en&cid=1658940240727135967&sa=button#p

Lost the mini receiver to my Logitech desktop MX3200 laser please help me out!!!

Not even Logitech could help you with a lost component without which the system won't operate unless you can directly wire the keyboard with the mouse wired (wait a minute, neither has wires, do they) to the desktop.

Here are your options:

1.New wired Keyboard and Mouse:
2.New duplicate of what you had, with careful shoppiing to make certain that the same channels are useful to your receiver (of which you will have one) while you have two KBs and Mice addressing one
receiver for dual control of one desktop which is exactly why one purchases a KBR.
3. Purchase, if available a new receiver from Logitech.

My choice of the above options is Door #2

New wireless mouse quit working after 2 days.

Hi bobbii1968,

  1. Try replacing the batteries. Do not use alkaline batteries. Use ordinary Eveready battery.
  2. Check polarity when placing battery in mouse
  3. Ensure red infrared light is on. If on, there is hope in getting the mouse to work
  4. Plug in USB wireless receiver.
  5. Press button on receiver and below the mouse.
  6. This should work fine.
Update us again if the above does not work?

Thank you for taking time to read this.

I have a micro wireless keyboard, and I neeed a wireless mouse to match. Where can I buy one?

You could go to the place you bought the keyboard and see if they have a mouse too. If you want to use the same receiver though, the receiver (the part that plugs into the computer and communicates with the keyboard) you might consider purchasing a complete set, keyboard and mouse new. This has the advantage of using one USB connection on your computer. If you purchase a wireless mouse now and your receiver is not designed to support two devices, then you will use two USB connections.
