My alias account of email@example.com cannot be edited. I get double e-mails because when I set it up I put the same name in the reply to space. How do I correct this problem without deleting this account?

<span>Instructional steps to follow<br /></span>
Sign in to your Yahoo! email account as you would normally. Click "Options," then "Mail Options" on your Yahoo! dashboard.<br />
Click "Accounts" on the left-hand sidebar. Choose "Add or edit an account" from the main window.<br />
"Account Information" on the next screen. The system prompts you to
sign in again with your password. This brings up the "Yahoo! Account
Info" page.<br />
Scroll down a bit and select "Manage your Yahoo! aliases." A new screen appears describing the purpose of having a Yahoo! alias.<br />
"Add an alias" and type in a new name. This name has to be unique--no
other Yahoo! user can have it. You may have to try a few names before
the system accepts one.<br />
Take note of your new alias name and click "Close."<br />
Log out of your Yahoo! account. Log back in to your account with the new alias name.<br />
create alias and login with it..
To create a new alias
click My Account > Edit My Profiles ... Then click the Create/Edit My Profiles button
This will take your browser to a web page where you can create new aliases
When creating an alias:
You'll only be able to choose a name which has not already been taken.
You can create up to six aliases as part of a single Yahoo ID.
You can try asking yahoo support but they dont usually action these requests. Best thing to do is try firstly creating an alias, check in mail settings, it may allow you to add a mail alias of your choosing so your email address will stay the same but you also have the other email address you wanted and the mail comes into the same box.
The way I found out to edit my profile is to sign into yahoo mail, on the very top it says "hi, your name", there should be an arrow next to your name, click on the arrow and select profile, you should be able to edit your profile from there.
