Motor keeps running. Water heats fine. Help

Drains only when cancel- reset pushed (manual drain). Suggestions?

What I meant is that the cycle runs fine- dishes are clean and drains properly but at the end of the cycle instead of drying it simply cycles back to full cycle again. The only way to stop it is to depress the cancel /reset

One of the reasons for motor not draining during normal cycle is the check valve is stuck. It is meant to return to normal during drain cycle but close during wash. I think the cancel is resetting it and letting water out.

SOURCE: My bosch dishwasher does not fill with water (although it drains)

most bosch have the inlet valve at the end of the fill pipe and it has an anti-flood device.
try turning off the water, take off the fill pipe then reconnect it and see if this works.
taking off the fill pipe resets the anti-flood device

SOURCE: Bosh Dishwasher not filling

I had the same problem with no water coming in. Each model may be different, but i solved the problem by holding down the clean drain button for 5 seconds. On my model, it is two buttons simultaneously, then closed the door and waited for the washer to cycle through. Once completed, turn off and then back on again to run normal load. If this does not help. Call Bosch Directly. They have an excellent customer service desk (1-800-944-2904) or http://www.boschappliances.com/kitchen-appliances-dishwashers_dishwashers_Integra_800-series.html.

Hope this helps

My Bosch SHU66C02UC dishwasher stopped midcycle with water in the bottom. We checked the fuse and it is fine. I'd rather not pay for a repairman as it is quite expensive.Thank you.

Some suggestions: try pushing the drain/cancel buttons and see if that drains the water; check the filter or trap in the bottom of the dishwasher for blockage; check the hose that links the dishwasher to the under-sink drain pipe for blockage. You could google the model number and find the owners manual, which might have trouble shooting suggestions.

I have a front loading machine(CAH4205AWJ) & it keeps giving me a Lr code.some times it fills with water and drains but never spins.

The LR code means "Locked Rotor". This could be due to:
  1. The control board at the top of the unit has lost connection to the motor and its control board at the bottom. Check for loose connectors. Also try 're-seating' each connector by pulling it off and pushing it on two or three times.
  2. The motor and/or control board at the bottom are shot.

Whirlpool dishwasher wont wash

if the bottom tub is filling with water but not washing the issues is with the wash motor, some of this model use a start capacitor that can fail, if it has a capacitor on the side of the motor it may have failed but are difficult to diagnose but are cheap to replace so worth trying, if this doesn't help or if it doesn't have a capacitor then the fault is with the wash motor.

Hi

If clean light is blinking 7 times then it may be an issue with heater circuit, door switch or wash pump. If yes then please reset the power to the dishwasher. After, 5 minutes check if you are still getting the same error. If yes, then it is a water heating fault. To resolve this error try pressing this reset sequence-- Heat Dry - Normal - Heat Dry - Normal or High Temp - Air Dry - High Temp - Air Dry or Hi Temp Scrub, energy saver dry, Hi Temp Scrub, energy saver dry. Now let the unit run for 2-3 minutes and then you press the Cancel/Drain button and allow it to completely drain and reset.
If this doesn't work then it's an issue with the wash pump not pumping the water past the heater efficiently or due to lack of water to heat. Please make sure that heater is not open circuited and is heating the water efficiently. You'll have to check the heater using a multimeter; the meter should read between 3000 to 3300 ohms (Use multimeter on Rx1 ohm setting). If heater is fine then make sure water pressure is optimum and fill valve is working fine.

Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

The clean light keeps blinking and the dishwasher will not start. I pushed the cancel button and it runs for about 30 seconds and just shuts off. Nothing happens when you push the start button.

My MDB5600AWW isn't cleaning the dishes. Even easy stuff like wet pasta sauce. I watched/listened and discovered the water is not staying in the tub during wash cycles. It fills, then slowly (1-2 mins)...

Hi,
Check the drain hose... it sounds like it has fallen down too low and is not looped high enough to keep the water in the tub....this will let the water drain right out as it fills like you are saying...

Whirlpool Dishwasher won't drain during normal cycle

As you say a clogged line or valve does not make sense.

Try running it without the heated drying and see if it empties or if the cancel button will work then.

The dishes should air dry quickly if you empty it and open the door.

It could be a defective thermostat allowing it to get too hot during the heat cycle

Fills, doesn't pump to sprayer, drains on drain only cycle

Sounds like there is still something in the pump. I am 99% certain this unit has a reversable motor.
