Printing problem

Have you tried replacing the cartridges?
REset the printer, and when you do so, unplug the data cable as well and wait 10-15 minutes before reconnecting, instructions here.
See also here and here. or here., and adjust to factory specs or rest the print cartridge awhile.
It's hard for me to believe this has to do with the printer itself, though. It seems like a software setting to me...Have you looked into the printing preferences in control panel for your printer?
