Question about Brother SX-4000 Typewriter
The full spool goes on the L.with the tines to the right. the L/O tape goes thru the black guide with the dull side facing the paper. between the the shinny pieces, thru the black guide on the right around the slacker wire and the take up spool last.

Take off the ribbon, just inside the rt. side frame of the printer is the mech. for L/O feeding. There is an arm that moves back and allows the feed to ****, that mech. is probably gummy, lube with some WD40 on both sides of the printer (the left side sets up correction lifting.
