Question about Boating
Starts and runs fine at low and high rpm's, but from about 2000-3500 rpms it runs rough. Seems to run fine once it comes out of the hole. I have changed the filter, changed and gapped the spark plugs, and looked all over for loose or worn connections.
You may need to syncronize the carbs. Run it and mark the throttle lever for your problem areas so you can duplicate the throttle position on dry land. When on land move the throttle lever to the problem area and then remove the engine cover. NOW look for loose connections and fittings especially carb linkage. At the worst you may have to have each carb adjusted with a flow meter if you do not find a worn part. A good boat shop will have such meters.
