If it is working properly it should happen when you pull the trigger.

Motorola MC9090 CE clean boot

This will get you BSP 35. Before you install it, completely delete (and back up) everything in the \Application directory, as that is the only cold boot persistent directory. There may be other instructions included with the download for wiping everything out as well, so be sure and read through all the documentation and release notes first.

Cannot read symbologie/BarCode: i25(interleaved 2 of 5) from an MC9090-G running VT100 emulation. How do I configure the scanner within Telnet-CE/Wavelink?? Thanks. Dante Barboza

Hello,

You will need to configure the telnet emulator from your pc first and download it to the terminal after.

Check the version of telnet emulator you have. To do this, go to the options menu on the emulator and click on about wavelink.

Register yourself on www.wavelink.com and download the same client version as installed on the terminal. (Don't forget to download the Active sync version.

Tweak all the configuration parameters on the emulator once you have installed it on your pc also enable i2of5 symbology and then download the config only to the terminal.

It's not like your old DOS scan guns where there was a definite number of characters (rows and columns) that could fit on the screen. Instead, it runs Windows Mobile or Windows CE, which has a graphical interface (like your PC). It comes preloaded with terminal software from Wavelink to connect to your AS400, and you can set how large or small you want the font to be in that terminal emulator. So the answer is, the "lines per screen" and "characters per line" can pretty much be as many or as few as you want. It's a trade-off between how much you can fit on the screen and how well you can read it if you were to choose a font size that is too small.

I will say that Wavelink does a good job with this emulator at allowing you to scroll around the screen though. If there is anything that won't fit on the screen, you can just press the Ctrl key and then use the up/down/left/right arrows to page around the screen.
