best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Same problem here. Was able to resolve by downloading the update to my PC then unzipping file to USB drive. Connect USB drive to XB, power up, and follow prompts.

According to the Xbox Support page, you should contact Microsoft about this error. http://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us
Other than that, I would suggest trying to update using different methods. If the problem occurred while updating from Live, try putting the update on a disk or flash drive. Here is a link to the update page where you can find the downloads for disk and flash drive. http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/how-to/update-xbox-360/system-updates

Your system is not accepting your DVD drive firmware, either your DVD has been modified before or your drive got curropted when updating. if your system has been modified before then you must restore your drive back to stock and reupdate. if your system has never been modded before then you will need a new drive.

The first thing I would try is to go to system, storage then select hard drive, press left bumper, right bumper, then X, do this twice and then yes to update. This deletes the old update and tries to replace it with the new update. If this fails there is an alternative method - You first need a flash drive/memory stick that has got FAT32 file system (just in case you don't how to find out this info) with drive inserted to laptop/pc go into windows explorer and right click on the memory stick and go to properties you can then view the system type i.e. NTFS, FAT32.
Once sorted go to the Xbox Support website then select Xbox360 - System - System Update then select How To Get A New Xbox 360 Update last option to pick is Copy To A USB Flash Drive.
Save the file to your laptop/PC, once completed unzip the file and copy the folder to the flash drive how it was unzipped, plug the flash drive into the Xbox and switch it off. Once the 360 starts back up it looks at the flash drive and installs the new update. Once completed you can remove the flash drive and carry on playing!!
