SOURCE: Heat/AC Blower fan speed only works on High

Alot of people have the same problem with the fan switch and blown bulbs. There really is no fix for this. Jeep really screwed up when designing the heater control assembly. The cheapest solution is to buy another unit off Ebay. Can always go to the dealer but be ready to PAY for there mistakes.

My 1999 limited does this. When i bought it off the guy he said that its because of some flap down by the passengers left foot. In mine the passenger air barely even blows because of this.

SOURCE: 2002 jeep grand cherokee fan not working?????

Replace the fan relay switch. The dealer will charge you 400 to pull the bumper off, or you can buy the part for 45 and cut the hole in the plastic near the passenger headlight assembly and replace it yourself. There are instructions for this procedure on the web somewhere. I have had this problem more than once with my 02 GC V6.

Blower fan is hitting something . Do I need to remove battery cable to work on this?

no you don`t need to disconnect the battery to work on the blower motor.just remove the motor and check the condition of the squirrel cage(not damaged) and check inside the air box for debris and clean out.make sure the noise is not the blower motor itself.

My fan won't blow hot or cold air unless i'm driving fast on the interstate

Sounds like your heater blower motor is not functioning properly. At high speeds it's probably drawing air in from the outside then through the vents (defrost, etc.). If blower motor sounds like it's running, then maybe the squirrel cage (heater fan blade) is not spinning and in need of repair or replacement.

Blower fan to a/c on 2006 jeep grand cherokee laredo is making noise when turned on. what could be the prob and what needs done to fix? where can i get schematics for it?

You won't need a schematic, you just need to remove the blower motor and check that the fan cage is not cracked or broken, if the fan cage is in good shape then its your blower motor that needs replaced.

It's and easy and cheap fix, and you can get both parts if need be from your local parts store.

There is a noise that my heater makes when the heat is on. The heat still works, but as you turn it up higher , the noise gets louder. What could be causing this?

Probably some leaves or debris in fan cage. remove fan and clean. or it could be a bad fan motor bearing remove and replace.

2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.7 is overheating. Mainly at stand still and slow traffic. Once it hits High it pushes back down to normal level within one or two minutes and repeats. coolant levels are good...

sounds like you have a partially obstructed radiator (either bugs or other debris packed into the ac condenser, leaves between the condenser and radiator or an internal blockage inside the radiator core.) if it is not external it can possibly be cleared by flushing, though most flushes available today are fairly weak and tend to go around obstructions instead of going through them. if flushing does not help, replace the radiator.

The blower fan on 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee squeeks when running.

Maybe that's why they call it a squirrel cage. Seriously, noise is either from something caught in the fan or a bearing in the motor is dry and beginning to fail (motor needs replacement) Either way you need to remove motor to check it.

Check the blower motor under the dash.(on right side put a 12v lead directly to the connection and if it works, the problem may be in the switch relay or resistor pack. (i've also heard of debris holding the fan from moving so if there is power there and motor does not run, remove & check first before buying a new unit.)

A/c heater fan no blow

sounds to me like the blower motor resistor, and if I'm not mistaken the resistor and the blower motor are located under the dash on the passengers side. the resistor should have a wiring connection and 2 screws attaching it to the blower case. The a/c and heater blower will not work if the resistor goes out. hope this helps you out a little. Best wishes.
