2005 Ford Focus. Air is blowing out of the floor vents and defrost vents but not dash vents. Also the knob will not go onto the dash vent option it's like it just springs back up.

A failure has occurred in the HVAC system, legally, when a fault happens the hvac system will default to defrost/floor. Further diagnostics will be needed to determine issue.

PS3 turned off on its on, now won't turn back on

Hello,

"When the power status light flashes red after using the PS3 system for 3 or more minutes and shuts off, the PS3 system has possibly over heated. This may be caused by poor ventilation or the vents may be blocked."

"If this happens:

• Check to see if the vents are blocked. If the vents are dusty, vacuum the vents to remove the dust.

• If the PS3 system is in an enclosed area like a bookshelf or entertainment center, move it to a more open area.

• Leave the PS3 system off for 30 minutes to let it cool down.

• If you continue to have issues, you will have to send the system in for service."
Hope this will help...

My dryer is saying to check filter but the fileter is clean, the vent hose in the back is clear and it is still not drying the clothes. The dryer is putting out heat, but the clothes are still wet after a...

There is a restriction in the dryer venting system. If the moisture is not removed from the dryer thru the moisture vent then the clothes will get hot but not dry. You will need to remove the vent hose at the back of the dryer and look inside the vent pipe and see if it is restricted with lint. You might need to reach up inside the vent with your hand and pull out the lint. Also some of the newer dryers have a fan assisted venting system and if the fan stops working that can cause this issue.

Nothing blows through front vents on any setting; back vents work fine

The motor that changes the vent settings is either bad or something has jammed up the system. Mice have been known to make nests in the vent system. Either way this is a job for a professional.

The cable from the vent control knob is probably broken or come off somewhere, you'll have to trace it from the back of the knob onwards.
