Epson EMP 500 turning off

I believe that's an overheat problem. Check the fan if it's cooling properly. Make sure the unit is in a cool temp room.

Projector wont power up

Hello :

Check your fans, The projector will not power up if either of the fans have failed . A defective electrolytic capacitor in the power supply can cause the problem also . You could check the lamb also . If the lamb is defective that also can cause the problem .

good luck .

Hello, I have a PLC XP45L. As soon as I turn on the projector it goes off. The only light on top of the projector is the READY light. We replaced the lamp last year and probably have around 50 hours on...

good day mr david, just clean the air filter of your projector, check all the fans if working... if this problem occur again your lamp ballast is defective.

Mistub XD450. Bulb relatively new. Projector

Does the projector work normally when sitting right-side up? If yes, something could be interfering when the unit is inverted. The symptom you describe initially sounds like a defective fan (some fans put out a computer pulse telling the main board it's running--they have 3 wires, red, black, yellow(signal)). If the board doesn't get signals from all required components, it's programmed to shut down to protect itself.

Temperature indicator turns on in my Epson EMP-500

it appears that one of the cooling fans in ur projector is jammed or not spinning at the required speed!
ope the projector & observe the fans as u switch on!!!if the fans seem fine, then it could be a defective thermistor!
