Going on standbymode and power green light blinking TA4 nakamachi

I'm not familiar with this product, and there the best I offer is that you consult the user guide (which you probably already have)
http://www.ps2netdrivers.net/manual/nakamichi.ta-4/#manual
or (buy) a service manual (which it seems includes a troubleshooting guide) from any of a number places, two are given below:
http://www.manualszone.com/en/nakamichi-service-manuals/62888-NAKAMICHI-TA4-service-manual.html
and
http://www.nakamichi.owner-manuals.com/TA4-service-manual-NAKAMICHI.html
All three manuals/guides are available from
http://www.hifiengine.com/manual_library/nakamichi/ta-4.shtml
There other websites where you an download the service manual (I don't know if the are the 'official' service manual, or different ones that have been written by different people).
If you are really stuck contact Nakamichi through www.nakamichi.com or (what appears to be a more friendly site) http://www.nakamichi.co.uk/support

The power light is just blinking red on my panasonic 1080i hdtv. cant even switch it off using the power button. picture and sound come on for about a second when the tv is switched on after power cord...

The power light keeps flashing and the tv won't turn on. If you unplug for a minute and hit the power button it sound like it is coming on then it shuts off and the red power light flashes slowly. The TV is a Panisonic 1080i HDTV, about 6-7 years old.

I'm trying to program my Dish Network remote to my Nakamichi AV-8 and can't seem to make it work. I know I'm doing it correctly because I've tested it with another receiver. Any ideas on which code I...

We would be happy to help with that. Here is a list of someof the codes that we have for your Nakamichi Receiver: 671, 748, 750, and 649.

Press and hold the AUX mode button until all mode buttons at the top of theremote come on, then release. Enter the number 2 then one of the codes for your Nakamichi Receiver provided above. Press the pound (#) button, the mode light should flashthree times. Check that the code works by trying several different functions onthe remote to make sure it will properly operate your Nakamichi Receiver. Keep in mindthat some codes may not be compatible with your equipment. If this is the case, please try the other codes listed for that device until you find one that iscompatible with your equipment.

We hope this helps you, and thank you for being a valued DISH Network Customer!

Keeps blinking. I've shut it off, and cancelled all print jobs - even unplugged it. Keeps blinking. Says there is an operator error

Try this:

1. Turn off printer (use button, don't unplug)
2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.
5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.

If this not help may the print head is defective.

Circa 1980 nakamichi tuner amplifier TA-3A

Hi jac48k

Anything branded Nakamichi is worth repairing in my opinion. The problem may be something quite simple, or worst case a blown output stage. First check that there are no problems with the speaker wiring or speakers. This can be done quickly by disconnecting the speaker wires and see if the unit fires up correctly. If it still shows the protection mode by blinking power light, then it will need some repair work done. If you are not versed in electronic repairs, fault-finding or soldering, then i suggest looking fpor a repair guy. Contact your local HiFi specialist retailer, They always know who you can trust to look at it for you, if not take it on themselves. Good Luck.

NAKAMICHI CASSETTE DECK 1 NOT PLAYING?

it has probably thrown the capstan belt and will require a new belt fitted. the transport relies on capstan rotation to engage play. a separate reel motor operates ff/rew and takeup funtions
