You posted under ST01C and are wiring timer to replace 3-way switch.
Open following link for specific illustrations:
http://waterheatertimer.org/ST01C-program.html#ST01C
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/ST01C-explanation.rtf

1) The timer replaces one of the 3-way switches. The other 3-way switch remains, but must be rewired.
2) The timer must replace the 3-way switch that receives power from breaker box. It cannot replace the other 3-way switch. This is because the timer Black wire must always receive power.
3) The timer blue wire must connect to Load (light)
4) The ST01C red wire is only used when wiring for 3-way.
5) When the red wire and blue wire are connected together, they reverse the timer program. When timer red and blue are disconnected, the timer resumes programming. Connecting and disconnecting the red and blue wires is how the timer mimics 3-way operation.
6) The remaining 3-way switch must be wired so it will connect and disconnect the red and blue timer wires. So the remaining 3-way switch has to be rewired to meet specific timer wiring.

I installed a Lutron LG 603 P. I have existin three way wiring. Previous light switch operated fine as a three way. The new dimmer comes with two red wires and a black. My wiring is white, black &...

The correct way to wire this switch is the wire that was on the gold or dark colored screw of the old three way switch is called the shunt or common terminal. The wire connected to this terminal is to be connected to the black wire of the three way dimmer. The other two wires are connected to the silver or light colored terminals of the switch. These are the traveler terminals. The traveler wires may be connect to either traveler terminal - it does not matter which.

If you have already disconnected the old switch, simply connect the dimmer wires to the house wires as shown top to bottom in each configuration below until you get it to work as expected:

Config1 Config2 Config3

B R R B R R B R R Dimmer Wires: B = Black R= Red R = Red
R W B B R W W R B House Wires: R = Red W= White B= Black

In two configurations or less, you'll have found the correct wiring for the switch. I hope this helps & good luck! Please rate my reply. Thank you.

What color plug where i ve got three colors blue,red,black

If I understand correctly, you are replacing a switch with the EJ500 timer.
You mention a 'plug'

The EJ500 has 3 wires: Black Red Blue.
If you are replacing a single-pole switch:
The switch has 2 wires, one of these wires is the Hot-from-breaker and the other wire goes to Load:
Timer-black connects to Hot-from-breaker.
Timer-blue connects to wire-going-to-Load.
Timer-red wire is capped off. Red is not used for single pole switch.
If you connect wires and your lights blink, then you put the red wire where the blues wire should go.
If you connect wires and lights do not operate, try reversing the blue and black wires.

I posted images of EJ500 wiring (the Intermatic EJ500 and ST01C have identical wiring
http://waterheatertimer.org/ST01C-program.html#ST01C

If you are replacing a 3-way switch, the wiring is more complicated.
The EJ500 can not replace a 3-way switch wire-for-wire.
Diagrams on link above show wiring for 3-way.

That is a three way timer. There is no wire that the white wire gets hooked to. The black is the hot, the blue sends power to the device, and the red goes to a switch that connects it to the blue wire essentially. Here is a PDF of the directions, including wiring diagrams.

Hi nd welcome to FixYa,

On a Honda CB550K, wiring would be:
  • blue - from ignition coil to contact breaker;
  • yellow - from ignition coil to contact breaker;
  • black/white - to the ignition coils from the emergency switch (engine off);
  • red - from the center fuse of the fuse bank to the ignition switch;
  • black - ignition +12 from ignition switch;
  • black/red - I don't recall a black/red wire on the harness.
Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

Wiring Bathroom light/vent/heater switch with 3 separate controls

Wiring a bathroom combination vent, heater, light 3 way switch means more wires. In brief, you need to run two cables - one a two wire and one a three wire from the switch to the fan.

Incoming power will have white black and ground.

The two wire cable for the switch to the fan will have wht, blk, and ground.

The three wire will have red, blk, wht, and grnd.

The switch will likely have 2 blacks and a red coming from it, with two blacks and a red on one side, and a single black on the other.

The fan should have a red, blue, green, black, and white.

On the fan end: Group all green/copper grounds together and use a wire nut to fasten them together. Tape the nut to the wires.
There will be five white wires coming through. For ease of handling, using wire nuts, connect two on one nut and three on the other.
connect the blue to a blck. Connect one red to one black, and the other red to the other black.

The switch will have one red going into the 3 wire cable, a black going to the 3 wire cable, and a black form incoming power to the side opposite the 3 wires, and a blck going to the two wire cable.

There. Confused?

Im sittin here with the wiring harness for my 99 altima, and the wiring thing from the back of my pioneer deh p6700MP, i have no clue which ones to match with the other one?

Here's the manual for the Pioneer -->LINK<--.

This is the 2 options of install wiring on a 97 Altima, I'm not sure if it's exactly the same, I suggest that you don't trust these pinout if yours differ at all.

Radio Constant 12V+ Wire: Pink
Radio Switched 12V+ Wire: Blue
Radio Ground Wire: Chassis
Radio Illumination Wire: Red/Green
Radio Dimmer Wire: Red/Yellow
Antenna Trigger Wire: Green/White
Front Speaker Size: 4′ x 6′
Front Speaker Location: Doors
Left Front Speaker Wire (+): Brown
Left Front Speaker Wire (-): Black/Red
Right Front Speaker Wire (+): Light Green
Right Front Speaker Wire (-): Black/Yellow
Rear Speaker Size: 6 1/2′
Rear Speaker Location: Rear Deck
Left Rear Speaker Wire (+): Orange
Left Rear Speaker Wire (-): Black/Pink
Right Rear Speaker Wire (+): Blue
Right Rear Speaker Wire (-): Black/White

THERE IS AN ALTERNATE WIRING COLOR CODE

THERE IS NO CONTACT PIN OR EXISTING WIRE THAT IS GROUND !!!!! (some really strange things happen to aftermarket radios if you think the Red/yellow wire on pin 9 of the 10-pin connector is ground”!!!!!

Large 10-Pin Connector:
Constant Hot (Memory or Clock) =RED wire pin8
Switched (Ignition) Hor = Blue wire pin4
Left Front Speaker + = Blue/white pin1
Left Front Speaker - = Blue/yellow pin5
Right Front Speaker + = Brown pin2
Right Front Speaker - = Brown/white pin6

The Smaller (6-pin) connector is only for the rear Speaker:
Left Rear + = Red pin5
Left Rear - = Green pin4
Right Rear + = Blue pin2
Right Rear - = Pink pin6

Regards

Philip
