SOURCE: the screws broke off when trying to remove the tv stand from my LG 42lg30. Is there any other way to remove the base stand? thanks

If you broke one of the base stand screw you will need to do as follow:

Remove the remaining screws of the stand and try to remove the stand, if you cant you will need to remove the back cover of the TV and then you will be able to remove the stand, remove the broken screw and put it all back.

It is pretty easy but if you feel you cant do it let me know and I can give you a detailed step by step guide.

There is no way to know what board until testing is done, my advice based on cost is to just replace the TV.

TV LG 47LE7300 won't start

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

I need a Panasonic TV TH-42PD25 base stand! I've searched ebay, no luck. This might sound dumb, but can I use base stands from any of the other Panasonic 42" models?

You maybe lucky, but make sure the mounting holes on the stand matches your TV.
Alternately you can use a wall mounting and these have mounting holes that suit most TVs.

It should be M6 bolts.

Simple thing would be to go to Home Depot or Ace and pick up a metric bolt assortment kit. They're usually pretty cheap, and always handy to have around.
